DR SHEIKH HASANUR RAHMAN

Dr. Sheikh Hasanur Rahman is currently working as Associate Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Dhaka.
He graduated (MBBS) from Dhaka Medical College in 1990; passed Master of Surgery in Otolaryngology in 2002 and Fellowship (FCPS) in Otolaryngology from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons in 2003.
He worked in department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Dhaka Medical College Hospital as Assistant Registrar, Registrar and Resident Surgeon for different time period. Later he worked in the same department, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), Dhaka as Assistant Professor from 12th Oct, 2005 to 26th March 2011. Since 27th March 2011 he has been working as Associate Professor, Otolaryngology & HNS, BSMMU.
Dr. Hasan has thirty-nine publications in different national and international journals. He delivered thirty-two Lectures/Presentations and demonstrated thirteen procedures (cadaveric/ live) in different national and international workshops/conferences.
Dr. Hasan has special interest in “Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Surgery” and “Phonosurgery”. He is working as Scientific Secretary, Society of Otolaryngologists and Head-Neck Surgeons of Bangladesh since 2012. He is also working as Scientific Secretary of Bangladesh Endoscopic Sinus and Skull Base Society, Organizing Secretary of Association of Phonosurgeons of Bangladesh and Life Member of Laryngology & Voice Association, India.
